Panthers Downed Beaten By Broncos

The Fillmore Central Panthers were downed by the Centennial Broncos 69-43 in boys basketball Saturday, Feb. 12 at Utica as the winners pulled steadily away in the contest.

The Panthers fell behind 19-13 at the end of the first period, trailed 36-19 after the second quarter, and then trailed 60-32 going into the final period.

Fillmore Central saw its record fall to 6-15, while Centennial upped its mark to 11-9.

Fillmore Central made 14 of 18 free throw attempts while the Broncos sank 11 of 18 from the line.
