Fillmore County Trap Results Week 3

The Fillmore County Trap team participated in the third week of conference on April 4 at the Crooked Creek Gun Club near Aurora. Of the 260 total shooters, 56 were from the local team. The FC team consisted of 21 senior high division shooters and 30 junior high division shooters. The team is coached by Ron Schropfer and Chris Coash.
Wyatt Deepe started the day strong nailing 49 rocks from the 16s. He then won a shoot-off to claim the High Senior Male award from that mark. Marissa Nun continued her streak by taking home some hardware for the third straight week. She cinched the High Senior Female award for the 16s after she took out 47 rocks.
In the handicap rounds, Jamey Broman hit 41 and came home with the Handicap Female Champion award. Jesiah Rasmussen nailed 44 from the 22-23 yard line to take home that top spot.
The conference tried something new this week by putting three top female shooters together and using their combined scores for a Top Female Team award. FC claimed this prize with Marissa Nun, Chelsea Fessler and Jamey Broman hitting a combined 234 rocks on the day.
The Fillmore County Juniors again didn’t disappoint this week. Lauryn Monteforte nailed 41 rocks to claim the Top Junior Female award. The FC team of Kyle Broman, Jared Engle, Riley Hiatt, Carson Tatro and Brock Tatro claimed the High Junior Team award by hitting a 213.

Team 2: Chris Lichti 39/39/78, Wyatt Deepe 49/36/85, Jacob Bespalec 46/43/89, Jesiah Rasmussen 46/44/90 and Chelsea Fessler 44/40/84. Total team scores: 224/202/426
Team 3: Jamey Broman 39/41/80, Derek O’Connor 48/42/90, Logan Peppard 48/33/81, Colton Jacobsen 37/34/71 and Gatlin Motis 37/34/71. Total team scores: 209/184/393.
Team 4: Tanner Nun 40/26/66, Tanner Ourada 39/28/67, John Alfs 23/30/53, Lydia Birky 28/34/62 and Brianna Hafer 37/32/69. Total team scores: 167/150/317.
