Fillmore County Trap Conference Results

The second week of conference brought beautiful weather to the Fillmore County Trap Team on March 28 at the Crooked Creek Gun Club near Aurora. Of the 253 total shooters, 47 were from the local team. The FC team consisted of 18 senior high division shooters and 29 junior high division shooters. The team is coached by Ron Schropfer and Chris Coash.
In the senior division, the girls ruled the roost this week. From the 16-yard line, Chelsea Fessler nailed 47 to be named High Senior Female. In the Handicap Round, Marissa Nun followed her lead by nailing 46 rocks to take home the Top Female Handicap award. The girls then took the overall awards with Marissa being named High Overall Champion with 90 total rocks and Chelsea named High Overall Female Runner-Up with 87 total rocks.
The juniors walked away with some hardware of their own. Carson Tatro came away with Runner-Up Junior Male after hitting 46 rocks and winning a shoot-off to claim the award. Lauryn Monteforte nailed 44 rocks to take home the Runner-Up Junior Female award. Runner-Up Junior Team also came from the local team of Kyle Broman, Jared Engle, Riley Hiatt, Brock Tatro and Carson Tatro after they hit 216 rocks.

Team 2: Parker Trowbridge 42/40/82; Wyatt Deepe 38/35/73; Logan Peppard 43/37/80; Marissa Nun 44/46/90; Jesiah Rasmussen 45/35/80. Total team scores: 212/193/405.
Team 3: Jamey Broman 39/36/75; John Alfs 33/37/70; Lydia Birky 37/33/70; Gatlin Motis 43/33/76; Travien Motis 38/34/72. Total team scores: 190/173/363.
Team 4: Colton Jacobsen 43/36/79; Tanner Nun 18/18/36; Chelsea Fessler 47/40/87; Derek O’Connor 42/44/86. Total team scores: 150/138/288.

 Team 2: Shane Fessler 34, Caleb Hendrickson 36, Izayah Morris 42, Kaleb Scheil 41, Tucker Stutzman 40. Total team score: 193.
Team 3: Gunner Gewecke 40, Wyatt Hansen 30, Lauryn Monteforte 44, Wyatt Nun 39,  Austin Plock 45. Total team score: 198.
Team 4: Thane Kimbrough 35, Nathan Nelson 25, Trenton Srajhans 32, Aiden Trowbridge 32, Parker Uldrich 39. Total team score: 163.

Team 5: Nic Glenn 28, Isaac Janing 31, Conner Nun 42, Justin Stengel 27, Dylan Vodicka 31. Total team score: 159.
