BDS Swats Bees, Advance

The BDS Eagles crushed the Bloomfield Bees 60-20 in D-1 State Football playoff action Wednesday, November 5 at Shickley in a game where the two teams rolled up 679 total yards.
“Our team asserted itself from the beginning of the game,” said Eagles Coach Shipley. “We were very efficient on offense and dominated on defense. The team should be proud of their effort.”
“We would like to thank our scout team that runs the opposing teams offense and defense,” said Coach Ardissono. “They really gave us a great look while preparing for Bloomfield.”
The Eagles led 30-0 after the opening period, led 52-14 after the second quarter, and then led 60-20 after the third quarter.
Eagles improved its season mark to 9-1.
The Eagles played in the next round of D-1 State Football playoffs on Tuesday, November 11.
