E-M Defeats Hampton, Meridian

Exeter-Milligan made it to the D2-1 District final on Thursday night after fighting its way through the toughest sub-district in the state last Monday night.

"We played two solid matches tonight," said E-M coach Darcy White after winning the sub-district in Friend.  "Unbelievable effort by the girls.  We didn’t finish our match with Meridian until 11:10, but it was well worth it.  The girls were determined and supported their teammates the entire night.  We are excited to win our sub-district, but we still have a huge match on Thursday night.  Hopefully the girls will be able to come out with the intensity they had tonight."
