Tom Novak of rural Geneva (above) gets his entry ready with the help of Bill Kleinschmidt (left) and Jocelyn Davis (right) in the Pork Loin and Rib Cook-off competition at the 23rd annual June Jubilee celebration in Milligan on Saturday afternoon. A dozen area grill masters competed in the Rib competition on June 12 and there were five entries in the Loin competition. Taking top honors in the Rib competition was Randy Hall of York. RMLL was second in the rib event and JTR BBQ was third. Tops in the Loin competition was Paul Coffey with Paul’s Up ‘N Smoke. Second place went to Rib-A-Holics and RMLL was third. A crowd of about 450 attended the community rib and loin feed that began at 5 p.m. after the competition.
