Several area, recently-graduated high school seniors will be taking part in the annual all-star games sponsored by the Southeast Community College system and played at the Truman Center on the SCC-Beatrice campus.

The All-Star Volleyball Game begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 15, in Beatrice. Panther skipper Michele Evans will be the head coach of the West All-Stars. Former players Haley Norvell, who will be playing volleyball at Doane College this fall, and Maggie Malone will be on the West roster. Joining the two former Panther standouts is Exeter-Milligan All-Stater Claire White, who will be playing volleyball this fall at Washburn University.

The Girls Southeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball Game tips-off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 16. Former Panther Heather Broman, who will play basketball at Doane College, is on the West All-Stars. The Boys Southeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball Game follows the girls at 8 p.m. on Saturday. FC leading-scorer Kyle Karcher is a member of the West All-Stars.
